Spinal Manipulation
Spinal Manipulation is commonly referred to as an adjustment and is performed to improve joint function and reduce pain
This technique involves retraining the spine and supporting muscles to function in a healthier way.
During your manipulation (also known as an adjustment) one of our highly experienced chiropractors will identify the specific spinal segments that are misaligned. A segment that is misaligned will typically be accompanied by pain, stiffness, loss of mobility, muscle spasms and nerve irritation.
After the diagnosis our chiropractors will place controlled pressure onto your spinal joint to bring your entire spinal column into balance.
Spinal manipulation can be used to:
- Restore normal motion to the joints of the spine
- Relax tightened muscles
- Improve coordination
- Reduce pain
